Lidt om kunstneren John Legend
Den amerikanske singer/songwriter, producer og skuespiller John Legend blev født i 1978 – med navnet John Roger Stephens. Hans debut album “Get Lifted” fra 2004 solgte 2.5 millioner eksemplarer. Albummet er i genren soul/R&B og indeholder bl.a. hits som “Used to love You” og “Ordinary People”.
Efterfølgeren til debut albummet hedder “Once Again” og blev udgivet i 2006.
John Legends tredje album “Evolver” (2008) har gæsteoptræden fra kunstnere som Kanye West, Brandy Norwood, Estelle m.fl.
“Love In The Future” udgivet i 2013 er Legends 4. album.
John Legend vandt, sammen med Common, en Oscar for sangen “Glory” i 2015.
Som skuespiller er han bl.a. kendt for sin rolle som musikeren Keith i “La La Land” fra 2016.
